This very difficult decision stems from recent events that have ignited uncertainties in today’s political climate, heightening tensions and straining cross-border logistics. As a result, teams have faced challenges in confidently committing to the event, leaving RWO without the critical mass of competitors needed for a series race at the level that we all expect.

RWO and its partners remain dedicated to delivering exceptional offshore racing experiences and will actively work towards hosting this event in Toronto in 2026 as international relations normalize.
